Terms and Conditions

Rental Agreement:

By placing an order with Formal Functions Rentals Ltd you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Formal Functions Rentals Ltd.

Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit is required for all orders. The deposit amount will be communicated to you at the time of booking and must be paid in full to secure your order. The deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your order.

Responsibility for Breakage and Damage:

You are solely responsible for any breakage, loss, or damage to the rented glassware, tableware, and party utensils during the time they are in your possession.

You agree to inspect all items upon receipt and notify us immediately of any discrepancies or damages. Failure to report damages may result in additional charges.

Any breakage, loss, or damage to the rented items will incur a penalty equal to the full replacement cost of the damaged or lost items.

Use of Rented Items:

You agree not to misuse, abuse, or altar the rented items in anyway. This includes but is not limited to using the items for purposes other than their intended use, such as using glassware as decorations or tableware as serving trays.

You agree to follow all usage instructions provided by Formal Functions Rentals Ltd, and to use the rented items in a safe and responsible manner.

Return of Rented Items:

Rented items must be returned to Formal Functions Rentals Ltd, in the same condition as they were received, normal wear and tear excepted.

You agree to return all rented items by the agreed-upon date and time specified in your rental agreement. Failure to return items on time will result in additional charges.

Washing and Returning of Rental Items:

You are responsible for returning the rental items in the condition you received them. Failure to do this will incur additional costs, unless agreed prior with Formal Functions Rentals Ltd at an set fee.

Payment and Cancellation:

Payment for the total rental cost, including the deposit and any applicable fees, is due prior to or upon receipt of the rental items.

Cancellations made within a week of the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

In the event of cancellation, you will be responsible for payment of any costs already incurred by Formal Functions Rentals Ltd.

Limitations of Liability:

Formal Functions Rentals Ltd, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the rental of our items, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings or loss of data. Our liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to the rental agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Formal Functions rentals Ltd, for the rental of the items.

Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
